The Mark(ings) of Zorro
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

I have to spend some more time with this option. When I'm using the compose window, it seems to be pretty much WYSIWYG. But I am having trouble with the paragraph tags. It would appear that there are no such tags in Blogger's repertoire. This is disturbing. I, for one, find unformatted text...hard to read and generally obnoxious. God put punctuation and paragraphs on this earth for a reason, and, if it wasn't God but rather some printers who devised said marks and rules, it should have been God because punctuation is so very necessary to readability (unless you are ee cummings in which case artistic license/ability take temporary and limited precedence.)

Of course, the above didn't include a separate paragraph which is why I'm adding this comment. I needed the break to see what Blogger was going to do...and the answer was "not much." It appears that Blogger needs for one to at least tag paragraphs manually. Now, one can simply tag the beginning, and Blogger will add the ending tags. I just wonder why it won't put all the necessary tags in place.

Oh, well, it is not a major hardship to have to put a tag at the beginning of each new paragraph. However, if one just puts the tags in without also hitting "enter" the formatting one has to deal with in the "edit HTML" tab is just a lump of text with embedded break tags. The breaks do show, however, in the WYSIWYG compose tab. Not the most intuitive arrangement, but one I can live with for a while...
