The Mark(ings) of Zorro
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."
H.L. Mencken

Spam

I have decided that I don't hate the spammers out there. After all, they are just trying to make a buck to, in some cases, feed the family. No, it's not the spammers who attract my opprobrium, it is the jerks who answer them. If nobody ever replied to a spammer, they would eventually give up and wander off into the night. However, as long as one person answers each mass mailing, they are encouraged to keep at it. "Maybe," they think, "if I increase the number of emails I flood the web wisth each and every day, I'll get two or three responses per mailing. Yeah, it worth it" So, it is the flaming assholes out there who, in all their cupidity or desperation, answer the spammers who are actually at fault.

Therefore, if you are one of those people who have ever answered an unsolicited email, you can pick up your JackAss statuette (made of genuine imitation metal) at the booth in the back of the hall...
