So, I'm still using the old P-2/233 machine. It is painfull. Things grind along at almost glacial speeds. For example, my DSL is actually pretty quick of late, however, the processing of graphics takes ffffffoooooorrrrrreeeeeevvvvvveeeeeerrrrrr. That and the fact that I'm using Windows 98SE as my O/S and the fact that I have little or no head room on the hard drives makes this all very uncomfortable. I have been lurking around a few of the discount sites (like CheapStingyBastard) but I haven't found anything I wanted...well, actually that's not quite the truth: the truth is that I haven't been quick enough to grab what I wanted before the coupons were used up. Meanwhile, all my "stuff" is sitting on the other hard drive--the hard drive that 1) is too big for this BIOS to handle and, even if it could, 2) the drive is formatted in NTFS so I wouldn't be able to read it any way. (I've got music streaming at the moment, so the cursor is about 10 key strokes behind my fingers. Very disconcerting.)
