The Mark(ings) of Zorro
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Signs of age

So, today I was driving the urchin to her school, and I was thinking about resurrecting the first consulting company I formed when I moved back to New Jersey in the early 90s. The name of the company was Paladin Consultants because I happened to have an early luggable computer so I could use the tag "Have computer. Will travel." Well, no sooner had I contemplated doing this when the relevant theme song burst into my mind in all its glory. I proceeded to sing the whole thing, word perfect (I checked later) to a somewhat bemused granddaughter. It is not a good sign when one remembers things like this and not what one's password is to an email account created last week.

*sigh*
