OK, here's how I understand our system of justice works: If you are a celebrity of anything above medium standard, you have a free pass to kill somebody in the Los Angeles area of California. Now, I'm not sure whether this is a one-time only deal, or if one gets multiple opportunities. Of course, "free" is a relative term. The lawyers involved are not free; that part 'll cost you. I base this observation on the Simpson and Blake murder trials. Sure, Blake "offed" his bitch of a wife, and, sure, O.J. did the same to his ex. And they both got a pass on the deeds after paying lawyers huge amounts of money. Is this a wonderful country or what? Martha goes to the slammer for the same thing everybody on Wall Street tries to do every day (i.e. trade on advance information that the rest of the world doesn't know yet...) while these two gentlemen literally get away with murder. Maybe I should add that it is still a good thing to be a male in our society. Women don't have to go to a Muslim country to be treated differently (and not in a good way "differently") than males. I sure hope this changes before my granddaughter goes out into adult society...
