More ruminations, rambles, rants and raves from the downhill side of the mountain.
Just so you know exactly where I stand vis-a-vis today's polarized politics, let me recommend this organization to you.
And I also recommend my gentle employer to you as well. The Barnes & Noble Affiliate Network, which seemed to have stopped working, is back in operation, so the links and banners are working again.   Now, go buy some books. Links:

I have been a busy boy today. I added a couple links to my employer in hopes of getting a couple more dollars a year outta it (Barnes & Noble is, in fact, an it). Off to the left are a couple more graphic links. One is for a specific book (the one I'm reading right now) and a generic link to BN.com. If you wanna buy a book, use one of these links. I'll get credit for the sale and it won't cost you one red cent. That way I'll be able to live large on the rush of commissions I'm expecting from all you loyal readers out there...oh...wait a sec...my ever observant tech support informs me that I shouldn't make any reservations for that 'Round-the-World cruise just yet. Damn! Anyhow, should you ever get the urge to purchase a book, please do it through me as it would be nice to have this place generate a little something towards its upkeep...and I thank you profusely...
