So, Lynne Cheney, the unofficial First Lady, has added her two-cents to the political debate. She specifically took John Kerry to task over his stand on his criticism of Bush's "No Child Left Behind". Well, DOH!, he isn't criticizing the concept, he is pissed because, after launching this with great fanfare, Mr. Bush has totally failed to fund it adequately. Therefore, lots of kids are being left behind. But wait! Bush is a fan of Left Behind. Many of his favorite advisors take the LeHaye/Jenkins take on this as being Gospel (which it isn't...see Slacktivist's take on this.) In any event, Mr. Cheney should tell his wife to butt out lest she get splattered by the backlash she is sure to engender.
