My Dulce is becoming quite the young lady these days. She is well into her "Terrible Two's" which, all things considered, are not so terrible. She goes everywhere, these days, at a dead run. When she isn't running, you know she is dawdling on purpose...to make a statement, as it were. Her favorite TV personalities are Australia's Wriggles. This is causing Granddad some distress. She has two of their DVD's, Wriggle Bay and Somethingorother Party (OK, so I used my employee discount at the store to buy them...leave me alone!) that are her viewing options of choice. The problem, of course, is that I am also watching these two videos much more than any adult human should. Consequently, their songs are running through my head...I think I may have to kill myself. On the plus side, she is developing a very strong attachment to her grandfather. I love it, but have to be carefull not to usurp mommy and daddy's position in the pantheon. The child has the greatest laugh. When she is really tickled (literally..."Don't do that, Granddad!") she has a belly laugh that makes the day worthwhile...*sigh* I am so conflicted: I want both her and a career! I need to win the effing lottery! 'Nuff said..." Sheryl Crow rules...'cause I have I have Steve McQueen pumping through the earphones at the moment. Rock on!...
