The Mark(ings) of Zorro
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

by El Zorro Viejo (aka; Jim)

Heh, heh, heh....

The new cat...the one I fought a long, hard but ultimately losing battle to keep out...just came within inches of ending her life. In fact, she knocked over a couple of potted plants in her zeal to eat them. The plants, and the rich, black loam they are potted in, landed on the very white dining room rug. My dear, gentle spouse would have killed the animal if said cat hadn't decided that upstairs was a much more inviting area to be in. As it is, I am maintaining a low profile because I'm afraid I'm looking somewhat smug...and that isn't playing in Peoria this weekend...*grin*
