The granddaughter and her parents are off to Florida for a week with the other grandparents. That actually meant that I'd get two full days without having to provide either daycare or go to the other job. Except that today was spent hacking and wheezing and lying on the couch. The runny nose has progressed to a full-fledged cold. This sucks. So, instead of doing all sorts of fun and/or necessary things (like go see the new Matrix movie or bring in the outside furniture), I spent the day wallowing on the couch like a beached whale while downing patent medicines (which don't "make you better...all they do is supress symptoms) and making Kimberly-Clark richer. And now, after spending all of 20 minutes vertical, sorta, I'm heading back to the couch...I've got to shake the worst of this before I go back to work tomorrow morning. *sigh*
