As per my last post, I have had some success on the home ownership--repair and maintenance division--yesterday. And, on Friday I finally found the first chapter of a story I had started in 1992. Reading it, and the supporting research, have inspired me to pick up keyboard and start creating again. I am vowing to spend one hour a day with the word processor occupying my monitor. I may spend the entire hour staring at the white space, or I might spend the time doing more research on this part of New Jersey (since this is the main locale of the story.) But, the thing is, I will spend an hour a day doing something that pertains to furthering the development of this story. I am thinking of posting bits and pieces of it over on my Diaryland site. I was thinking of posting snippets of writing that I'm particularly happy with. I'll publish the URL if those plans develop. As it is, none of that will be done tonight as it is approaching 1am and I have to be at work in 6 1/2 hours....ooops! Good planning, Jim. More to come on this one...
