I logged onto my personal start page on Earthlink today to find this headline (" More Weapons-Grade Uranium Found in Iran") nestled in among the top international stories of the day. Meanwhile, the New York Times has this ("Draft Report Said to Cite No Success in Iraq Arms Hunt") as their top story in their email edition. (If you click on this link, you'll be asked to join the NYT. This is a free service so, well, why not?) Putting the two together, it would seem that Mr. Bush was one country off in his crusade to make the world a safer place. Seems that Saddam was all bark and no bite while the real danger was (and still is) with the religious fanatics who currently rule Iran. As Gilda would have said, "Ooops, nevermind...." Editorial note: I updated the links with the actual headlines since it dawns on me that URLs such as these tend to be ephemeral. So now, at least, you, dear reader, have some idea about what I'm getting at even if the actual articles dissappear.
