Two quick thoughts: First, we are morally committed to coming up with whatever it takes to rebuild Iraq since we were the ones who irrevocably broke the place. It sucks, but that is what we have to deal with...However, for every dollar that goes over there, somebody should be howling that it was lies and deceit from the Bush White House that created that necessity. Second, after listening to the Bush/Reagan wing of the Republican Party scream for the last quarter century that the U.N. is an abomination and should be abolished, it is refreshing to see Mr. Bush turn to that organization to pull his nuts out of the fire. Think about it.
