Well, DUH! And I was wondering why nobody ever commented on anything I write here. It is fucking hard to comment, I guess, when the goddam commenting service is down!!! A cousin sent me an email telling me that he tried to comment on a couple of my entries and couldn't. So, I opened up the site and tried to comment, and I got the same bleeding message from enation. This means that I have gone through both Haloscan and Enetation and have had problems with both...Oops, just went back to check something and --voila!-- the commenting worked again. I don't like playing craps with my commenting system. I want to be able to receive feedback at least occassionally. This is pushing me closer and closer to Movable Type or something similar. I think that I have the ability to use extensions on my freebie Earthlink website since I have DSL access through them. I'll have to start exploring that more. Yeah, commenting that doesn't work sucks. If I were a vole (at least I think these are voles) living under my lawn, I would be commenting on the horror of life near a swimming pool. So far this summer, at least six of the little creatures have perished in the pool. I fished the latest body out of the skimmer this morning. I think that sooner or later I am going to have to instal some sort of life bouy to float around the pool at night. That will at least give the little creatures a chance at survival. As it is now, if they fall in, there is no way they are going to live until morning. I'll have to give this some thought, and, meanwhile, the little creatures will continue to eradicate themselves.
