Yesterday, because the rains came and it was cold and generally nasty, the store was packed. I didn't stop for almost the full 8 hours. By the time the crowds finally went home, the place was a wreck! I spent from 9:30 to midnight putting things back to where they belong. All in all, it was a two "black-eye" night (a "black-eye is a shot of espresso in your mug of Starbucks coffee...at least that's what it is at Barnes & Noble...), but that, of course, meant that I didn't get to sleep until well after 2 am. Consequently, I'm moving a little slow this morning. This morning. This morning dawned bright and beautiful. The sun is shining and there is not a cloud in the sky. Mother Nature is a perverse, fickle bitch! And the baby should be showing up any moment, so I have to get busy with her breakfast. I think it's a hoot that she eats most of her meals here with Granddad. Well, gotta run ('cause she moves pretty quickly these days).
