OK, it has been over a week since I've posted anything. I am soooo bad about keeping my commitments! What's going on in my life? Well, all of last week we were full time parents again as we were left in charge of the granddaughter while her parents went off on a vacation. While it was actually mostly fun, I do understand why God made parents young as the general rule. After a week of having her 24 hours a day, both my soul mate and I were a little tired. When I think of people becoming parents at my age, I have to shake my head in wonder...wonder at them being soooo dumb! My Dulce is just about to walk on her own. She now wears real shoes a couple hours a day and prefers to walk rather than crawl. Of course, walking involves Granddad as the "walker" most of the time. I was hoping that she'd be walking before her parents got back from their trip, but...no. She still lacks a little confidence (let go of her hands and she sits down...) My current goal is to have her vertical and mobile by Easter. I'll provide progress reports. I have purposely avoided saying anything about the war and Bush because discussing either does nasty things to my blood pressure. Maybe tomorrow. For now let it suffice to say that I'm not happy with the war and I'm not happy with Mr. Bush. 'Nuff said.... And that does it for me tonight. More tomorrow...I promise!!
