Haloscan is still down. This makes close to three days. Does anybody out there know what is up with Haloscan...or, for that matter, how to contact them? When I try to surf to their website, I get a "cannot connect" error message. This leads me to believe that there is something seriously wrong at Haloscan. A problem with the commenting servers should not affect their website as well...unless the website sits on those same machines and, for some reason, the machines are no longer connected to the Internet. I am not happy. I've already switched commenting services once; I don't want to have to do it again. Now, I think, because I am a DSL Earthlink subscriber, that I have access to CGI scripting on my Earthlink website. If so, then I can switch to something like Moveable Type...although that represents an investment in time etc. which, right now, I am loathe to make. *sigh* Stay tuned for the next episode of As The Stomach Turns! *bleh*
