Typhoid Dulce has struck again. The little sweetness has a cold...not a bad one, but comes with runny nose and cough. And, of course, the first person she shared it with is her Granddad. I am hacking and wheezing like a terminal TB patient--I hate baby colds! At least I have two days off from work once I get through tonight. That is, of course, assuming that I do get through tonight. Speaking of Dulce, have I remarked that she is walking? Her solo efforts usually only last for short distances. However, she has one of these push toys that she is absolutely fearless with. She charges around the house at high speed, terrorizing cats, with a huge smile on her face. And the unassisted walking is getting better and better by the day. Certainly no later than the end of May, poor old Granddad will be in training for next year's Boston Marathon. When I take her to the doctor's for her Measles-mumps-rubella vaccination, I'll have to ask about the Lyme vaccination as well. And that means that I'll have to look into it for myself as well. I want to be able to take her for walks in the woods, I don't want to expose her to Lyme's. More to the point, I don't want to expose me. Our yard is pretty safe 'cause we're "city" folk and the deer haven't (knock on wood) found us yet.
