I have had a number of conversations regarding both the War against Saddam Hussein and the economy recently. In every one of them, the people involved, with no prompting from me, voiced their disapproval of Bush's War and their disapproval of the wreck Bush (and it is all on his plate now) is making of the economy. The man is, with the aid and comfort of the militant right, wrecking this country. As it is, it will take us years to undo the harm he has done so far. If we do not send him into retirement along with his father next year, the damage he and his right-wing cronies could do to this country could prove fatal to our great experiment in freedom. Remember, the political right-wing does not support a free society: They support a society in which they rule and the rest of us do what they tell us to do. Freedom is not what they advocate. Think about it (Oh God! I've been watching too much TV with the granddaughter! That last line comes from one of the PBS kids shows...the one with the airplanes which have faces...which in and of itself is a strange and scarey concept.)
