I've got to be disciplined about this. I have to post something everyday whether I feel "touched by the muse" or not. It is a question of self-discipline, and that is something that has been notoriously lacking in my life for the past mumble years. Yes, it is true...I often opt for the path of least resistance and do what is easy. And, because of this character flaw, I now find myself, at the age of mumble, beginning a new career starting at the bottom of the ladder...again. So, this time I am going to exercise a little self-discipline and not take the easy path--that infamous "road to perdition." One of the self imposed disciplines will be to write something here every day. It may not be earthshaking...it probably will be stuff like this. But it will be writing and it will happen every day. And now I have to go to work...
