For Christmas last year, the middle child (OK, they're not children anymore to anyone but their parents) gave my us calendars she had made. It was a cute gift because they fit inside a CD jewel case and each month has a picture from when they really were kids. March is a picture of the three kids and me from sometime in the early 80s. I had a beard then, and it was still brown/black and there was no gray around the temples. *sigh* Their faces were so young and so fresh...all life's doors were still open for them. The years go way too fast! I am trying to slow them down this time by paying close attention to what my Dulce Bebe is doing. I savor her. I spend close to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week watching her grow. It is an amazing process, and one I did not spend enough time paying attention to when my kids were growing up. I will not make the same mistake which this ray of sunshine.
