"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Urban Sprawl

There is a fine line between reasonable and unreasonable growth/development. New Jersey crossed that line years ago. Now comes Jim McGreevey saying that the State will now begin to address this issue in a responsible manner. I'll believe it when it actually comes to pass.

I used to love this part of the world: I still do, mostly. It's just that, as more and more people fill up the countryside, the quality of life degrades. For all our advances in technology and things that make life easier, this was a nicer place to live 30+ years ago.
