The damned skylights are leaking again. Somewhere around the skylights in our bathroom, there is a leak. Sometimes it leaking into the bathroom and sometimes it runs down a stringer to where it drips either in the back hall or the garage. I've had roofers here. I've caulked and patched myself and the damned thing(s)(there are two of 'em) still leak. Now, understand that they were here when we bought the house, so it wasn't me who put them in. I would have probably gone with a dormer window instead of a skylight. Anyhow, now I have to get up on the roof again and patch around these things one more time. I need two things: a day where the temps are up near 50 and a day where I either have another person in the house to deal with the urchin or a day off from being her nanny. It is all very boring!
