Last night it snowed, and tonight (assuming that it isn't actually precipitating in some form) I'll be cooking on the grill. Makes perfect sense. Of course, when we lived in Largo, FL, I grilled outside year round, and She got used to that. When we moved into this house, She saw no good reason why I shouldn't cook on the grill unless I actually would have to slog through snow drifts to reach it. Since what snow we had last night didn't last through the morning, I will probably be firing up the grill any time now. Update: There is still wet stuff coming down outta the sky, so I am spared huddling next to the grill tonight. In fact, it is supposed to be a nice day Friday, so maybe I'll get the patio furniture inside and put away for the winter. When that happens, the grill goes into its winter storage in the garage, and the grilling season officially closes.
